The project aims to improve water quality management in distribution networks through the use of advanced digital technologies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2109\" data-end=\"2335\">In this context, BGEO leads the development of a digital twin of the water network, integrating real-time sensor data with hydraulic models to provide a dynamic representation aligned with the system\u2019s operational reality.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2337\" data-end=\"2560\">This approach enables the implementation of intelligent calibration processes for the hydraulic model, allowing automatic adjustment of theoretical parameters based on real data. As a result, it enhances the ability to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2561\" data-end=\"2672\">\n<li data-section-id=\"33llnx\" data-start=\"2561\" data-end=\"2599\">\n<p data-start=\"2563\" data-end=\"2599\">detect anomalies at an early stage<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"w7c2p3\" data-start=\"2600\" data-end=\"2632\">\n<p data-start=\"2602\" data-end=\"2632\">optimize pressure management<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"vk4qte\" data-start=\"2633\" data-end=\"2672\">\n<p data-start=\"2635\" data-end=\"2672\">support data-driven decision-making<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2674\" data-end=\"2868\">The IAqua project demonstrates the potential of combining digital twins and artificial intelligence to move towards a more efficient, resilient and sustainable management of the water cycle.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2870\" data-end=\"3038\">Its implementation is supported by the Government of Catalonia within the RETECH Programme \u2013 Line 1: Projects to promote transfer and innovation in the field of AI.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BGEO participates in the IAqua project, an R&amp;D initiative developed in collaboration with AVENTEC, SL and Aig\u00fces de Vic, with the support of Eurecat &#8211; Technology Center.
