The project also includes the participation of Aig\u00fces de Matar\u00f3, Aig\u00fces de Manresa, TAIGUA (Terrassa Cicle de l\u2019Aigua, EPEL), AVENTEC, BGEO, and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">FLUENT 2.0 introduces key improvements compared to the first phase: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">A predictive algorithm that takes into account a multitude of variables and is capable of integrating new data. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The incorporation of risk analysis, considering economic, social, and environmental impacts.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">A results viewer and an intuitive application so that managers can interpret data and make decisions quickly and continuously.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">BGEO contributes its experience in the optimization of clustering algorithms, integration, and validation of new data sets to strengthen AI\/ML models, increasing their robustness and predictive capacity.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The project includes a proof of concept with the consortium&#8217;s operators, validating the model&#8217;s performance in real-life environments. It also plans to open the platform to new municipalities, especially those with fewer than 50,000 inhabitants.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The benefits of FLUENT 2.0 are clear: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Reduction of leaks and breakdowns in supply networks.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Optimization of investment in maintenance and infrastructure.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Greater response capacity of municipalities and operators to incidents.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Contribution to water sustainability in a context of increasingly frequent droughts.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Thanks to these improvements, FLUENT 2.0 not only improves service quality but also minimizes the economic, social, and environmental impact of outages, promoting the digitalization and efficiency of water supply systems in Catalonia and consolidating more sustainable and collaborative management.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project financing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bgeo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ACCIO-Horitzontal_Color.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-8676 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bgeo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ACCIO-Horitzontal_Color-300x68.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"68\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FLUENT 2.0 promotes failure prediction and water efficiency through an open-source software platform, consolidating its position as a pioneering project in water efficiency.
