A few days ago we had the pleasure of participating in <\/span>V Jornadas de Ingenier\u00eda del Agua (\u201c<\/span>JIA2017\u2033<\/span>) <\/span><\/span><\/span>Conference, which was held in <\/span>Coru\u00f1a<\/span> 25th and 26th of October.<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference was organized by the<\/span> GEAMA (<\/span> Grupo de Enxe\u00f1er\u00eda da Agua e do Medio Ambiente). The conference was included the four main topic and one monograph:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A. Fluvial Dynamics,<\/span> reservoirs,<\/span> estuaries and wetlands.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

B.<\/span> Hydrology, uses and water management.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

C. Water and city.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

D. Hydraulic structures.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

E. Monograph-fluvial environments and transitional waters: impacts of urban environments.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the framework of the theme of water and city, we made the presentation “Advanced Analysis of Supply Networks, Sanitation and Urban Drainage with Giswater 2”. We had a great chance to show and share our free and open software with all of the attendees.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The JIA 2017 conference was a great success and well-attended. Our congratulations to the organizers <\/span><\/span><\/span>for this high quality event and a lot of thanks to GEAMA who gave us the chance to present our project. <\/span>We also want to show our big respect for all of the our attendees for their interest in Giswater!<\/span><\/p>\n
